Keep Phoenix Beautiful is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.  Keep Phoenix Beautiful has been active in Phoenix since 1982. The organization’s basis is to involve and educate residents about recycling management and beautification practices.  Keep Phoenix Beautiful organizes and implements three programs: education/information, service and corporate. These special projects involve many volunteer residents and results in a healthier, cleaner, more beautiful environment.

Mr. Tom Waldeck, Executive Director of Keep Phoenix Beautiful, contacted ROCKET MEDIA with a need for a website that enhanced the appeal of his cause. The goal was to make the site graphically appealing while maintaining a “user friendly” experience. Mr. Waldeck also requested a calendar system, gallery application for event pictures, a press release system and a signup system for people to join his email mailing list.

ROCKET MEDIA delivered! The designers at ROCKET MEDIA worked to match the graphics on this custom design site, with Arizona’s natural look and feel. The website uses bright, bold colors and encompasses the desert scenery to exemplify the natural beauty of Phoenix. The outcome is really beautiful, no pun intended. To make this site easy to maintain, ROCKET MEDIA integrated a content management system (CMS). This CMS application allows Keep Phoenix Beautiful staff to make changes to their website, add pictures to their gallery, update events on their calendar and display press releases on their ‘News’ page, all via a web-based application. A ‘Join Our Newsletter’ entry box was added to the home page for users to submit their information to receive updates and event notifications. ROCKET MEDIA created a solid solution for Keep Phoenix Beautiful and is proud of the finished product.
