What tools do ROCKET MEDIA use to create a website?

Websites can be fairly easy to create using many of the more popular tools available today, such as Macromedia Dreamweaver, Microsoft FrontPage, and Adobe GoLive. However, the more professional websites on the internet are usually too large or too complicated for these software packages to handle. The easy-to-use editing tools from these packages also tend to create websites that are slower-loading and less compatible with many of today’s modern web technologies. Therefore, most professionals in the website design industry tend to edit the HTML of the site by hand using their favorite text editor. This gives much more control to the designers and developers to make a better standards-based site.

ROCKET MEDIA often uses Adobe Photoshop for the initial graphical layout and concept for the site. The content is usually inserted within the code view of Macromedia Dreamweaver. Custom development is most often done in PHP and MySQL. Also, tools such as Macromedia Flash are used for interactive or multimedia design portions of a site.
