Website Content Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage content requests and submit deliverables on defined timelines
• Provide superior customer visibility and service throughout
• Understand the needs of clients to diplomatically prioritize their objectives and write consistent content for their company.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge of both product features and business goals.
• Maintain and work with in-house project management software

Key Attributes / Requirements

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism or other related field, along with some knowledge of the principles of communications.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years experience writing and editing content preferably in either print or web industries.
• Experience working with a web-based company in an editorial or content management capacity.
• Experience and or understanding with HTML markup language a plus.
• Understanding of search engine marketing and requirements necessary for search engine optimization (SEO) a plus.
• Ability to work with designers and clients to achieve desired content goals.
• Effective time and task management skills to drive and complete multiple tasks in a high-output environment.
